Foued Mebazaa a salué le drapeau au son de l'hymne national et passé en revue un détachement des trois armes qui lui rendait les honneurs. Il a, ensuite, déposé une gerbe de fleurs au pied du mémorial des martyrs, avant de réciter la Fatiha à leur mémoire.
