Cette usine est située à l'entrée de la ville de Mdhilla et une quinzaine de kilomètres de Gafsa.

January 19, 2018: In the El Borj neighborhood of Mdhilla, MOHAMED TLIJANI, 45 years old, father of four children, the youngest of whom is 8 months old. The maintenance technician suffered third-degree burns during a sulfuric acid leak at the Mdhilla chemical plant on May 18, 2016. Sixteen people were seriously injured in the accident, one of whom died.

A stay-at-home mother, she has had asthma since she was 20 and is now suffering from throat cancer. Every time the wind blows smoke from the factory toward her home, she has to use her inhaler.
