The Schola des Juvenes at the Makthar archaeological site—the remains of ancient Mactaris—in central-western Tunisia is located in Makthar, a town on the northern edge of the Tunisian mountain range. The site is one of the largest in the country, and a large portion of it has not yet been the subject of archaeological research. In addition to the numerous ruins it houses within an archaeological park—such as the forum, the thermal baths, and the Schola des Juvenes—a small museum displays various archaeological artifacts found on the site.

Arc de triomphe et forum sur le site archéologique de Makthar, vestige de l'antique Mactaris, au centre-ouest de la Tunisie, est situé à Makthar, ville sur la bordure nord de la dorsale tunisienne. Le site est l'un des plus étendus du pays, et une grande partie n'a pas encore fait l'objet de recherches archéologiques. Outre les nombreux vestiges qu'il abrite au sein d'un parc archéologique comme le forum, les thermes, la schola des Juvenes, ... un petit musée présente diverses pièces archéologiques trouvées sur le site.
