A seated terracotta goddess, her bust surrounded by a circular veil and her head adorned with an enormous diadem. She wears long earrings, and a heavy pectoral made of necklaces covers her chest. This profusion of ornamentation appears to have symbolic significance (H. 18 cm, Punic necropolis of Byrsa, 4th century BCE, Carthage Museum).
