January 29: Tahar Belkhodja, a political figure and former minister during the Habib Bourguiba era, attended the first major political rally of the PDP (Progressive Democratic Party) since Ben Ali’s departure, held at the “La Coupole” sports arena in El Menzah, alongside rapper El Général, Bouaziz’s mother, and the party’s leader for the upcoming presidential elections, Ahmed Nejib Chebbi, who currently serves as Minister of Regional and Local Development in the transitional government.
