Founder and former Secretary-General of the Union of University Hospital Physicians, affiliated with the General Union of Tunisian Workers (UGTT); Former vice president of the Tunisian League for Human Rights (LTDH), he is also a founding member of the National Council for Freedoms in Tunisia (CNLT).
