January 25: Third day of protests by the Caravan of Liberation in front of the Prime Minister’s Office. Residents of southwestern Tunisia are maintaining their sit-in day and night, and some are even going on hunger strikes. Tents are set up in front of the government building, and their demands are posted on the walls of Government Square. For them, there is no question of leaving until the current transitional government purges ministers who are too closely aligned with Ben Ali.
