Ms. Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, French Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development, Transportation, and Housing, stated during a press briefing held today in Tunis that the purpose of this visit is to support our country’s democratic transition through concrete cooperation in areas affecting daily life, namely energy, transportation, and water management. “We are here today to listen to our Tunisian counterparts and explore together what we can do to support them during this period of transition,” said the French minister, who came to Tunisia on a working visit accompanied by stakeholders on the ground who are likely to engage in cooperative initiatives. “I am deeply moved to share this historic moment with the Tunisian people,” she said.
