June 18, 2011: Riadh Ben Fadhl. The Modernist Democratic Alliance is organizing its first event at the Palais des Congrès in Tunis. This event aims, on the one hand, to publicize the bloc’s principles and objectives and, on the other hand, to provide an opportunity for the parties and initiatives that are members of the bloc to speak during the meeting. This event is part of the Modernist Democratic Bloc’s participation in the Constituent Assembly elections, for which the bloc will present joint slates with the goal of drafting a modernist democratic constitution. Ettajdid Movement, the Socialist Left Party, the Patriotic and Democratic Labor Party, the Movement of Democratic Patriots, the Republican Alliance, the Arab Democratic Vanguard Party, the Citizenship and Justice Movement, and the Voice of the Center.
