July 21, 2011: Chebbi, Boujjafar, and Brahim led the citizens’ march organized by Tunisian democratic parties in Tunis. In response to attempts to sow chaos in the country and undermine institutions born of a national consensus, the signatory parties called on citizens to participate in a national march this Thursday. This march is organized by the following liberal parties: PDP, Ettajdid, Afek Tounes, Al Wifek Jomhouri, PSG, La Voie du Centre, and the Movement for Citizenship and Justice. The demonstration is taking place with the main leaders of the political parties at the forefront—for the first time, all together in a single protest.
