September 28, 2012: A performance blending media, dance, and theater by Théâtre Phou, Tunisia’s second private theater company, founded by Raja Ben Ammar. “La voix des gens” is a free, pop-up neighborhood radio station hosted by two actors, who play with this medium and push its boundaries as part of Dream City 2012, “The Artist and Freedom,” held in the Medina of Tunis from September 26 to 30. Beyond simply organizing an event in a public space, each edition of Dream City is the result of a collective research effort conducted by selected artists and specialists in the arts, urban studies, and the humanities.
