September 29, 2012: The Union of Unemployed Graduates (UDC) led a peaceful protest march against the worsening unemployment situation in Tunisia. Several hundred protesters, gathered in front of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT), began a peaceful march toward Habib Bourguiba Avenue in Tunis. Several slogans were chanted during the march, calling above all for respect for the demands of the Revolution, notably “employment, freedom, and national dignity.”
