October 7, 2012: Hamma Hammami attended the major inaugural rally this Sunday to launch the Popular Front, the left-wing political party created following the unification of about ten left-wing parties under the leadership of figures such as Hamma Hammami and Chokri Belaïd. “The Popular Front is the best alternative to govern the country during the next phase and achieve the goals of the revolution, thanks to its clear platform and high level of expertise,” stated Hamma Hammami, Secretary-General of the Tunisian Labor Party, who will be the Popular Front’s presidential candidate. “The Front will enter the upcoming elections armed with an effective monetary, fiscal, and social approach and real solutions to all the problems facing the Tunisian people.”
