October 19: Issam Chebbi at the press conference held by Al Jouhmouri and Al Massar following the death of the Nidaa Tounes activist in Tatouine. Issam Chebbi, spokesperson for Al Jouhmouri, called for the dismissal of Interior Minister Ali Laârayedh, demanding a neutral, republican security force to ensure a peaceful democratic transition. The parties are also demanding that the committees for the protection of the revolution be dissolved and that an investigation be conducted into them. They called for a protest sit-in on Monday, October 22.
