October 23, 2012: In front of the National Assembly, some 100 opponents of Ennahdha gathered to demand the resignation of the current government during the National Constituent Assembly’s solemn plenary session marking the first anniversary of the October 23, 2011, elections, in the presence of the three presidents: Moncef Marzouki, President of the Republic; Hammadi Jebali, Prime Minister; and Mustapha Ben Jaafar, President of the Assembly.
