December 12, 2013: Outside the courthouse, in front of a few journalists, a small group of women called for a harsh and maximum sentence for the “three Femen activists who committed an indecent act.” At the Tunis Court of First Instance, the trial is underway for the three Femen activists who traveled from France and Germany to stage a topless protest two weeks earlier. Having been in custody for two weeks, they were sentenced to 4 months and 1 day in prison without parole.
