August 6, 2013: Speech by Lotfi Ben Jeddou, Minister of the Interior, at the first session of the Assembly since the assassination of Representative Mohamed Brahmi. The plenary session began with a lengthy tribute to the martyr, featuring prayers and speeches in the presence of the members of parliament—with the exception of the 57 who were absent—as well as the Prime Minister and the Ministers of the Interior and Defense, who outlined the situation in the country in their speeches.
