September 26, 2013: A rapper who had come to support him at the Hammamet Cantonal Court—rapper Klay BBJ—appeared to challenge his in absentia sentence of 1 year and 9 months in prison following their performance at the Hammamet Festival. The judge sentenced the rapper to 6 months in prison for contempt of police officers for singing a line from Weld El XV’s song “Boulicia Kleb” (“Police officers are dogs”).
