June 24, 2014: On the roof of Mohamed’s house in the medina of Ksibet, on the coast. Mohamed, a fishing boat captain in Ksibet El Mediouni near Monastir, smuggled hundreds of young undocumented migrants between Tunisia and Sicily between 1996 and 2002. Sentenced to six and a half years in prison, he has now resumed his work as a fishing boat captain.
