September 29, 2014: Slim Riahi surrounded by his top candidates for the legislative elections. The president of the Free Patriotic Union (UPL) and its presidential candidate, Slim Riahi, presented his party’s candidate lists for the upcoming legislative elections as well as its electoral platform during a press conference at the Tunis Convention Center. Slim Riahi criticized Nida Tounes and Ennahdha—the former for basing its approach on demonization and the latter for striking a deal with former RCD members.
