October 15, 2014: Attorney Radhia Nasraoui, President of the Association for the Fight Against Torture in Tunisia. A sit-in in front of the Ministry of the Interior brought together several dozen people, at the call of 27 civil society organizations, to denounce acts of police torture in Tunisia. They displayed slogans such as: “Torture is an affront to dignity. Torture is a coup against the revolution” and “The police torture, and the Ministry of the Interior denies it.” The demonstration was organized in the wake of the controversial death of Mohamed Ali Snoussi in prison.
