December 2, 2014: Mustapha Ben Jaafar, outgoing President of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), at the first meeting of the 217 members of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People (ARP) elected on October 26, an election won by the Nidaa Tounès party (86 seats) ahead of the Islamist Ennahda party (69 seats), which had held the majority until then.
