December 22, 2014: At the media center of the ISIE (Independent High Authority for Elections), Chafik Sarsar, president, and the members, announced the final results of the presidential election, which gave Beji Caïd Essebsi a landslide victory with 55.68% of the vote, compared to 44.32% for outgoing President Moncef Marzouki, in Tunisia’s first free presidential election.
