As part of her second official visit to Tunisia—her last visit to the country had been in 2012—she met with President Beji Caïd Essebsi, Central Bank Governor Chedly Ayari, and Prime Minister Habib Essid. Amid this busy schedule, she made a point of visiting the Medina of Tunis to reaffirm the importance and value of tourism, and she visited the Bardo Museum to lay a wreath in tribute to the victims of the March 18 attack.
