November 24, 2015: Around 5:00 p.m., a terrorist attack took place in downtown Tunis targeting a presidential police bus. According to initial reports, a suicide bomber blew himself up inside a police bus. The preliminary toll is approximately 15 police officers dead and 20 wounded. The attack took place 200 meters from Bourguiba Avenue in the heart of Tunis. Prime Minister Habib Essid and the Minister of the Interior arrived at the scene one hour after the attack.
