January 14, 2016: Security measures were in place on Habib Bourguiba Avenue in Tunis for the public commemoration of the 5th anniversary of the revolution. Amid a gloomy atmosphere, several thousand people gathered to express their diversity in a Tunisia mired in political and economic stagnation. Families of martyrs, police officers, political parties and religious groups, flight attendants, Shams, unemployed college graduates… it was a true patchwork of demands that marched past Tunisians who had come out for a stroll along the avenue on this sunny day.
