January 14, 2016: Police demonstration in front of the Ministry of the Interior; public commemoration of the 5th anniversary of the revolution on Habib Bourguiba Avenue in Tunis. Amid a gloomy atmosphere, several thousand people came out to express their diversity in a Tunisia mired in political and economic stagnation. Families of martyrs, police officers, political parties and religious groups, flight attendants, Shams, unemployed college graduates, and more—it was a true patchwork of demands that marched past Tunisians who had come out for a stroll along the avenue on this sunny day.
