January 27, 2016: In the Kasserine governorate, unemployed college graduates have been maintaining their sit-in for several weeks and have just begun a spontaneous hunger strike. Gathered in the courtyard and in a large hall, nearly 200 unemployed people are voicing their demands to the government—for work and dignity—just as they did during the 2011 revolution. For the past five years, the situation has not improved, and the neglect of inland regions is even more striking; poverty and destitution are affecting more and more families.
