Families live crammed into houses that are indeed made of solid materials but are in a state of extreme disrepair—no windows, no doors, no heating, and no running water for some. The children’s only playground is the trash. For this woman, her husband’s wheelbarrow—he’s a mason—also serves as a stroller for her child.
