March 18, 2016: A large mosaic featuring portraits of the 22 victims was unveiled. One year after the attack, Tunisia organized a major event to commemorate the Bardo attack, which claimed the lives of 21 foreign nationals and one Tunisian. The ceremony took place in the museum’s lobby and was attended by Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid, Tunisian ministers, and Jean-Marc Ayrault, the French Minister of Foreign Affairs.
