March 18, 2016: Jean-Marc Ayrault lays a wreath in tribute to the victims. One year after the attack, Tunisia organizes a major event to commemorate the Bardo attack, which claimed the lives of 21 foreign nationals and one Tunisian. The ceremony took place in the museum’s lobby and was attended by Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid, Tunisian ministers, and Jean-Marc Ayrault, the French Minister of Foreign Affairs.
