August 27, 2016: President Beji Caïd Essebsi welcomed Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, flanked by his cabinet, to Carthage for the swearing-in ceremony of Youssef Chahed’s new government before President Beji Caïd Essebsi in Carthage. The day after the vote of confidence in the ARP, members of the new government traveled to Carthage for the swearing-in ceremony and a group photo of the government. The government received 167 votes of confidence; 22 members of parliament voted against it, and 5 others chose to abstain.
