Nabil Karoui, along with his organization “Khalil Tounes”—named after his son, who died in a car accident—has been traveling the country for the past three years to support charitable causes. On June 1, as Ramadan draws to a close, the organization is hosting its final “iftar” dinner in a working-class neighborhood of Carthage, a northern suburb of Tunis.
