July 27, 2019: Youssef Chahed, head of government, leaving the cemetery. A state funeral was held for President Béji Caïd Essebsi, who died on July 25 at the age of 92. After a ceremony at the presidential palace in Carthage, the funeral procession made its way through the capital, Tunis, to the family vault at the Jellaz Cemetery in Tunis.
