August 27, 2019: Press conference at the headquarters of the “Au coeur de la Tunisie” party, led by presidential candidate Nabil Karoui. This same candidate was arrested by police on Friday, August 23, in connection with legal proceedings and imprisoned, even though he had not been convicted by a court in a money laundering case.
