November 18, 2021: In the streets of Sfax, the country’s second-largest city located in the southeast, trash has not been collected for 50 days following the closure by residents of the Agareb landfill, located about 30 kilometers from Sfax. As of 24 hours ago, the city of Sfax began collecting trash to store it temporarily at the former landfill located at the southern edge of the city, at the foot of the phosphate waste mountain.
