May 15, 2022: Speech by Ahmed Nejib Chebbi at the first rally organized by the new National Salvation Front, recently formed by five parties opposed to President Kais Saied, including Ennahdha and Al Karama, the two Islamist parties. This front is made up of movements and parties that have been opposing President Saied for several months in an effort to “save” Tunisia from its deep crisis following his coup in July 2021. Nearly 3,000 protesters gathered in front of the theater on Bourguiba Avenue in Tunis, chanting slogans such as “Get out,” “We will prevail,” “We are united, not divided,” ... rallying around political leaders with a wide range of views, including Nejib Chebbi, Jaouhar Mbarek, Nourredine Bihri, and Seiffeddine Makhlouf.
