July 25, 2024: In Tunis, on Habib Bourguiba Avenue, the rally for this day celebrating the Republic and Kais Saied’s coup three years ago failed to draw a crowd. There were two gatherings: one by Saied supporters and another by the families of political prisoners. The Saied supporters, numbering just under a hundred and carrying photos and Tunisian flags, did not linger long on the avenue.
