Protesters threw stones at security forces, injuring 50 police officers and damaging 10 police vans. Security forces chased the protesters into the city’s neighborhoods, using tear gas. Protesters erected barricades of burning tires and scrap metal on Siliana’s main thoroughfare, and the streets were littered with projectiles.
