August 8, 2021: Following a massive influx of vaccine donations—nearly 6 million doses—and the significant delay in the vaccination rollout in Tunisia, a national vaccination day for people over 40 was organized today throughout the country. Tunisians responded in droves to the call, and thanks to the help of numerous volunteers, the military, the police, and healthcare workers, more than 200,000 doses had been administered by noon.
