August 8, 2021: At a vaccination center at the Ariana Cultural Center, a suburb of Tunis. Following the massive influx of vaccine donations—nearly 6 million doses—and the significant delay in Tunisia’s vaccination campaign, a national vaccination day was organized today across the country for people over 40. Tunisians responded in droves to the call, and thanks to the help of numerous volunteers, the army, the police, and healthcare workers, more than 200,000 doses had been administered by noon.
