June 26, 2015: The aftermath of a bloody attack. A terrorist attack at a hotel in the tourist area of Port El Kantaoui, north of Sousse. A young Tunisian terrorist opened fire for nearly half an hour on tourists, from the hotel’s beach all the way to the reception area, leaving a preliminary death toll of 39 among tourists and Tunisian employees, before being shot dead by law enforcement. The Tunisian Ministry of Health states that those injured include people of British, Belgian, German, and Norwegian nationalities, among others.
