Eleven young people, including one girl, set out from the Tunisian coast in late July 2020 and were lost at sea; with no fuel, the two survivors drifted for 11 days. To save his friends, Youssef set out on foot after eight days, swimming to try to reach an oil rig; he has been missing ever since.
