1–17 of 17

April 10: This Sunday at the Palais des Congrès, a major debate was held among members of civil society organizations on behalf of the Citizens’ Initiative for Active Citizenship. A large petition was launched in support of a citizens’ initiative: "The revolution for dignity and freedom affirmed our people’s will to fully exercise their sovereignty by establishing a republican and democratic system, breaking with dictatorship and corruption, and putting an end to the decline of our institutions. Considering that our people’s aspiration is to build a civil society that enshrines a culture of citizenship and freedom, we believe that the drafting of a new Constitution requires a national consensus, the principles of which must draw inspiration from the legacy of our civilization, the values of modernity, and the achievements of our people."
